Before you start

Teaching competencies that come up again and again: leading teaching and learning, use of IT in the classroom, managing an organisation, CPD, leading school development, extra-curricular involvement, organisational and administrative skills, leading people and teams, developing leadership capacity, team teaching, engagement with parents, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, self-awareness and self-management.
Have a second example ready for each competency. Panels often ask for another one.
Fill in the last section even if you do not fill every competency page.
